  • 4 apples peeled and cored
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup vegan butter cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup water ice cold
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and vegan butter until crumbly.
  3. Add ice cold water and mix until dough forms. Roll out the dough and cut into 4 squares.
  4. Place a peeled and cored apple in the center of each square. Fill the core with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Wrap the dough around each apple and place in a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
