Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Fresh Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
  5. 5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add sugar if the sauce is too acidic.
  7. 7. Serve over your favorite pasta.
