Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Break the matzo into small pieces and soak in water until soft. Drain excess water.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the matzo, apples, beaten eggs, sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and salt. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the kugel is set.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
