Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Chicken thighs skin-on, bone-in
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs, skin-side down, until the skin is crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side up. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Serve hot, spooning the sauce over the chicken.
