- 1 lb fresh strawberries hulled
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
1. Combine strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice in a blender. Blend until smooth.
2. Pour the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container.
3. Freeze for about 2 hours, then scrape with a fork to break up ice crystals.
4. Repeat scraping every 30 minutes until the granita is fully frozen and fluffy, about 2 more hours.
