Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon, skin removed finely chopped
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup green onions finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 4 burger buns toasted

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. 2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. 3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grate.
  4. 4. Grill the salmon patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
  5. 5. Serve the salmon burgers on toasted buns with your favorite toppings.
