Fresh Cherry Crisp Recipe

Filling
- 4 cups fresh cherries, pitted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Topping
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine cherries, granulated sugar, and cornstarch. Spread the mixture in a baking dish.
In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the cherry mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the cherries are bubbly.
