- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Butter cold, cubed
- ½ cup Ice water
Filling
- 4 Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and butter until crumbly. Add ice water and mix until dough forms. Divide dough in half.
Roll out one half of the dough and place on a baking sheet.
In another bowl, mix apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread over the dough on the baking sheet.
Roll out the second half of the dough and place on top of the apple mixture. Seal edges.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before cutting into bars.
