- 6 cups Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon Cloves
- 1 cup Apple cider
1. Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and apple cider in a large saucepan.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until apples are soft, about 30 minutes.
3. Puree the mixture in a blender until smooth.
4. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 30 minutes.
5. Pour into jars and let cool before sealing. Store in the refrigerator.
