Ingredients 

Pie Crust

  • 2 packages Refrigerated pie crusts softened as per package instructions

Filling

  • 8 cups Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out one pie crust to fit a baking sheet. Place it on the sheet.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, flour, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  4. Spread the apple mixture over the pie crust on the baking sheet.
  5. Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the apple mixture. Seal the edges.
  6. Cut small slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool before serving.
