Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Apples peeled and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Fold in chopped apples.
  5. Spread the batter into a greased baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
